What is The Partner Gardens Program? 

Growing Gardens’ Partner Gardens Program is a three-year partnership with organizations interested in starting community gardens or garden programs at their facilities.

We work with your stakeholders (residents, staff, clients, etc) to determine the needs of the community, the goals of the garden, and provide guidance, coaching, and instruction to create and sustain a vibrant garden program.

Depending on the project this may look like facilitating stakeholder meetings, creating a garden design, volunteer recruitment and training, garden construction, seasonal classes, providing tools and supplies, and collaborative fundraising.

Our goal is to help each organization integrate the garden effectively into the mission and culture of the organization to ensure its long-term success after the completion of the partnership.

Our Partner Garden program is open to organizations in the Portland area that serve low-income communities and communities of color.
