Each year in October, Dawn of The Bed volunteer teams help us spread the word about our work, raise critical funds to support the Home Gardens program, and build backyard garden beds all over the Portland metro area!

Step 1
Start a Team
Scroll to the bottom of this page to request your Dawn of The Bed registration packet. If you decide to go for it, simply gather a team, pick a name, and fill out a short enrollment form.
Step 2
Raise Money
Our shared goal for Dawn of The Bed is to raise enough funds to provide three years of seeds, starts, and supplies for incoming Home Gardens participants. Each team is assigned an official fund-raising link to share with their network over the month of October. To make it extra fun, Dawn of The Bed teams compete to win cool incentives and prizes!
Step 3
Build Gardens!
Every year on ____ our Dawn of The Bed teams gather in person to celebrate, connect, and build garden beds at homes all over the Portland Metro area.
