What A Night!
Thank you for joining us at Chef In Your Garden! Together, we gathered at The Redd on Salmon to celebrate food, land, and culture. This year’s Chef in Your Garden was our first-ever all-vegan dinner, created entirely with local produce from Oregon farmers. Because of you, the evening was filled with joy, connection, and purpose.

You experienced it first-hand: the creativity and generosity of Portland’s food community. Chef Fatou Ouattara of Akadi led the menu with bold, soulful West African flavors. We opened the night with welcome bites by Chef Boss of Norah, drinks by Nan of Libre, and fresh-baked bread by Dos Hermanos Bakery and La Porteña. Dessert from Penny Nguyen of Delicious Donuts and coffee floats from Portland Coffee Roasters and Kate’s Ice Cream made for the perfect finale.


The Farms
Every bite you enjoyed was made possible by the hands and hearts of our local farmers. Thank you to Sufiya Farms, Portland Microgreens, Mindful Mushrooms, Ejido Oso, and Masa Fresh for providing the fresh ingredients that nourished us all.
The Atmosphere
From the flowers to the music, the evening was filled with beauty and joy. Tables bloomed with arrangements from Vibrant Valley Farm and The Petal Dispatch. Performances by Aux Pope, Sebe Kan’s West African drummers and dancers, and the Thai Association of Oregon brought the room to life.
