Lettuce Grow Operations Coordinator
Interested in being part of a program which provides positive educational opportunities for incarcerated individuals in the state of Oregon? If you are committed social justice and prison reform and want to make a difference in the lives of those who are incarcerated, this job is for you. We are looking for someone to work at least 15 hours a week with possibilities of this being a 20 hour a week position. This position will work directly with the Lettuce Grow program Director.

Every year we host one Youth Grow Garden Educator. This position is possible because of Growing Gardens’ partnership with Food Corps. Applications are now closed for our FoodCorps service member, and will reopen in February of 2018.
Food Corps Garden Educator: Provide garden based educational experiences for students at partner elementary school sites. Works with Growing Gardens to implement seasonal garden education to students while involving parents and teachers at local school garden. Works with Growing Gardens staff to bridge PPS curriculum with experiential outdoor garden education. Bilingual in Spanish applicants needed.
